Bellevue City Facilities To Fully Reopen On April 4

BELLEVUE, WA — Bellevue City Hall and other city facilities will return to their pre-pandemic status on Monday, thanks to updated health directives, low COVID-19 activity and high vaccination rates, city officials announced Wednesday.

Starting April 4, City Hall will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and room reservations will return on April 18. Masks will not be required inside city facilities, but visitors are welcome to wear them voluntarily.

The change will allow for the Bellevue City Council to return to its chambers in a hybrid format in mid-April, with other boards and commissions set to follow suit on April 25. Officials said virtual participation options will remain available to the public.

Other city-run facilities, like community centers and indoor park buildings, have also reopened to the public, with mandatory masking only required at the Warm Springs Pool and the Highland Community Center’s fitness center.
