Bulldogs Flex Depth in Dominating Win Over Whatcom

Bellevue College, fresh off a three-week conference delay due to covid concerns, came back not only showing no rust from their December dominance, but displayed a talent pool of depth going 14 deep in an 88-62 tonight over Whatcom.

The ‘dogs scored 44 points in each half and were in control regardless of who was seeing time on the floor. Head Coach Donald Brady utilized everyone available and saw 53 points from the bench and 35 from the starters.

Daniel Thomas came off the bench and was 6-for-8 from the field for 13 points along with Jett Briceno. Briceno’s layup at the 11:47 mark put BC up 20-8 in the start of the blowout.

Griffin Barker, a local product out of Eastside Catholic HS made his debut after transferring at the break from out of state and contributed in multiple ways with four rebounds, two steals, two assists, and five points.

The Bulldogs are now 11-2 overall and 1-0 in league as they solidified their #2 ranking in the NWAC Ticket Smarter Coaches’ Poll released earlier this month.
