Bulldogs Win Men’s Golf Tourney at SW Oregon

Bellevue College men’s golf won the SW Oregon Invitational at Bandon Crossings GC yesterday, completing the sweep of all matches this season going undefeated. Bellevue won yesterday by 16 strokes, shooting identical scores of 297 during the two rounds. Although the ‘dogs could not take home the medalist honors, won by Skagit Valley’s Carson Linville who shot 5-under par, BC took home second, third, and fourth.

Medalist runner-up Dalton Dean shot 71-71 for a total of 2-under. A bogey on 18 offset a hot start on the back nine as Dean went three under after the turn with an eagle on the par 5 13th hole. Austin Duffy was third overall with identical rounds of 74-74. Ryan Knox was fourth shooting 74-77. Tyler Spalti rounded out BC’s team scoring with rounds of 79-76 while finishing tied for eigth.

Bellevue takes their undefeated record and regular season league titles into the NWAC Championships which will be held May 22-23 at Apple Tree GC in Yakima.
