COO and President – Gene Juarez Salons, Spas, and Academies

Katie Trent is the COO and President of Gene Juarez Salons, Spas, and Academies.  After joining the Gene Juarez team in 2020, Katie worked with the leadership team to create operational and financial efficiencies, identify opportunities to evolve the company culture, and scale the brand in the PNW.

Prior to Gene Juarez, Katie spent eight years helping to transform Rudy’s Barbershop from a local staple in the community to a bi-coastal brand with 25 locations in five states.  As part of the leadership team at Rudy’s during this period of growth, Katie served as the Director of Operations and then CEO.

Katie lives in Seattle with her husband and two young children.  In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors.
