Men’s Soccer Tops South Puget Sound

Bellevue College men’s soccer staged a late comeback in a 3-1 win over South Puget Sound yesterday at Bellevue. The Bulldogs and Clippers went scoreless in the first half before South struck first at the 53:32 mark on a goal by Francisco Ojeda.

Soon after, BC retaliated and scored on a goal by Santiago Leon assisted by Leandro Anaya at the 60:38 mark.

With the score tied 1-1, Bellevue rallied late with 15:00 to go by scoring two goals within ten minutes as Alex Herpain scored both goals at the 74:34 and 82:46 marks. The match winner was assisted by Josh Crocker.

Bellevue is now 4-4-2 in West Region play and 5-5-3 overall. The win also clinched a playoff berth for the Bulldogs. Bellevue hosts Tacoma this Saturday October 23 at 2:15 p.m.
