Bellevue College softball defeated Pierce 6-2 on Saturday. Game two results were not reported by Pierce College Athletics. In the 6-2 win, Morgan Sunchild was 3-for-4 with 3 RBI’s. Kaci Imus went the distance in the circle with seven strikeouts.

The ‘dogs got off to a hot start on Sunchild’s triple and a double by Christina Tadvick to put BC up 2-0. The duo did damage again with RBI hits in the third and fifth respectively to put Bellevue up 4-0. After Pierce got two back, BC put up two more in the seventh on an Imus double followed by another Sunchild extra base hit. Katie Fodge then hammered another double in the slugging spree to put the ‘dogs up 6-2.

Bellevue is 12-1 in league and 18-2 overall. The Bulldogs have their big showdown at Everett, who are currently 1.5 games behind, this Wednesday April 20 at 4:00 p.m.
