Ethan Smith, who starred at Bellevue College in 2018 and 2019, was selected in the mid-season draft in the Pioneer League, a minor league partnered with Major League Baseball. He was selected by the Grand Junction (CO) Rockies. Smith recently finished as a fifth-year senior at the University of Portland. He was an all-league outfielder for Bellevue in 2019 hitting a team-leading .351 with four home runs, 42 runs scored, and a slugging average of .532.
