Bulldog Men’s Basketball Win SW Oregon Tourney Opener

Bellevue College men’s basketball rebounded back from a tough buzzer-beater loss with a 90-45 win over Centralia today at the SW Oregon Crossover in Coos Bay, OR. The Bulldogs doubled their opponents score by scoring 46 points in the first half before dominating 44-18 in the second half for the blowout win.

The Bulldogs controlled the game with strong rebounding as the ‘dogs outrebounded the Trail Blazers 54-26. In a balanced effort, the team was led by Nate Johnson who had 12 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Johnson was 5-for-7 from the field including a perfect 2-fo-2 from three point range. Aydan Janssan, the freshman from Australia had 13 points on 6-for-9 shooting. Terrell Peter came off the bench and had 11 points and six rebounts while John Hart had 12 points and nine rebounds.

Bellevue plays tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. against the host, SW Oregon.
