Teen Accused Of Organizing ‘Numerous’ Street Races Across Puget Sound

PUYALLUP, WA — The Tacoma Police Department has arrested a suspect who, officers say, helped organize illegal street races across King and Pierce Counties.

The suspect, an 18-year-old man, was captured in Puyallup Friday. Little about his arrest has been released, though officers say he was identified and arrested with help from the Kent Police Department.

Following the arrest, police transferred the suspect to King County, where he will face charges for the races he allegedly organized in that county’s jurisdiction. The Tacoma Police Department is still investigating before filing charges of its own.
