Anna Swenson is the Outreach Manager at Recompose, where she leads marketing, public policy, and community outreach. Recompose is an ecological death care company based in Seattle. Recompose was the first funeral home to offer the process of natural organic reduction, also known as human composting, which gently transforms humans into soil after death. Composting of human remains was recently legalized in Washington. Anna is originally from Arizona and enjoys house plants and tide pools.
